There are several ways of locating a Justice of the Peace.
The most immediate is to check the Royal Federation of New Zealand Justices of the Peace Association, Service Centers -

Citizen's Advice Bureau, Tauranga - Justice of the Peace
No appointment necessary.
• Monday afternoons 1.00pm - 5.00pm
• Wednesday & Thursday mornings 9.00 am – 11.30am.

Amongst other duties, Justices of the Peace are warranted by the Governor-General to:
• Witness documents
• Certify copies
• Take declarations, affidavits and affirmation

Note: A Justice of the Peace will be on duty in these 3 libraries:
Tauranga Library (Okahukura Room) every Friday 12:00-2:00pm
Papamoa Library every Wednesday 10am-12noon
Mount Maunganui Library every Friday 11.30am-1.30pm
