Asperger's and Autism
"Asperger's Syndrome is an Autism Spectrum Disorder. It is a neurological disorder as if the brain is 'wired' differently. While people with the condition may be very intelligent, they may have difficulty fitting in socially, struggle to communicate clearly, have a different way of thinking and experience sensory challenges. This condition often has the added challenge of not being understood because it is 'invisible' and there is limited knowledge of Asperger's in the community", from Aspergers Connections, Tauranga.
